Los sindicatos Unión General de los Trabajadores (UGT) y Comisiones Obreras (CCOO), la Asociación Comarcal de Empresarios de la Zona Norte de Madrid (ACENOMA) y el Ayuntamiento de San Sebastián de los Reyes han renovado el Pacto Local por el Empleo que firmaron en 2008. El nuevo Pacto contempla el periodo comprendido entre 2022-2026.

En una reunión celebrada en mayo de 2022, los integrantes del Pacto ya acordaron la firma de un convenio marco para el impulso de dicho Pacto. Fruto de esta reunión, contemplando el rediseño de un nuevo marco de actuación, se estimó la necesidad de acelerar la reforma, debido al nuevo paradigma socioeconómico que ha propiciado la crisis sanitaria. Este desafío se debe a las nuevas formas de organización, entornos de trabajo y nuevos empleos, con la creciente importancia de la digitalización, el teletrabajo y el empleo verde.

Otro de los ejes en los que se mueve el nuevo Pacto es la nueva red financiera que ha construido la Unión Europea, de apoyo, regeneración y transformación de los países miembros, mediante la instrumentalización y puesta a disposición de los fondos Next Generation

De esta manera, el Pacto busca dar un impulso a San Sebastián de los Reyes, en un marco en el que también están presentes las principales líneas de actuación de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) y la Agenda Urbana 2030: la transición ecológica, la transición digital, la igualdad de género, y la cohesión social y territorial.

El Pacto Local por el Empleo de San Sebastián de los Reyes se formalizó en el Centro Municipal de Formación Ocupacional Marcelino Camacho, con la presencia del alcalde de San Sebastián de los Reyes, Narciso Romero Morro (PSOE); la secretaria general de la Unión Comarcal Norte de CCOO, Gemma Durán Gonzalo; el secretario general de la Unión Comarcal Norte de UGT, Francisco Arenas Murillo; y por la presidenta de ACENOMA, María del Mar López Sánchez.

El alcalde de San Sebastián de los Reyes declaro que “la ciudad vive el proceso de transformación económica más importante que jamás haya acontecido”, poniendo como ejemplo la “gran noticia de la decisión de la potencia tecnológica y mundial Microsoft para traer a Sanse parte de sus inversiones”.

Tatiana Jiménez Liébana (PSOE), teniente de alcalde y concejala de Desarrollo Local de San Sebastián de los Reyes, celebra el Pacto Local como “un impulso a su principal objetivo de liderar un proceso de cambio necesario para afrontar los nuevos retos a los que nos enfrentamos, y que nos permita ser capaces de generar más y mejor empleo y apoyar a las pequeñas y medianas empresas y al comercio local”. 

El acto de la firma fue precedido por una jornada de ponencias estrechamente relacionadas con el nuevo Pacto. Bajo el título “El Cambio Tecnológico y la Nueva Economía”, representantes de los integrantes del pacto reflexionaron sobre los nuevos retos económicos y sociales.
