Izquierda Independiente ha dado a conocer su lista electoral. En ella hay numerosas personas que cuentan con un gran reconocimiento por su trabajo en los ámbitos educativos, culturales, deportivos, profesionales y asociativos. Algunos de esos nombres son el actor y vecino de Sanse, Pepe Viyuela, el director de la Banda de Música Municipal, Jesús Vioque o el ambientólogo y defensor de los espacios naturales de Sanse Jorge Chicote. También los ex directores del Buero Vallejo, del Príncipe Felipe y del Torrente Ballester, José Luis Álvarez, Pepe Capote y Gabino Álvarez. A ellos se suman el histórico dirigente de IU y ex concejal de Hacienda, Ramón Sánchez Arrieta. También Pilar Manzanares, emblemática maestra de la Educación Pública y escritora o  el querido vecino, jardinero y escritor, Esteban Cano.

Y no faltan la activista por los derechos de las personas mayores y pensionistas, Maribel Mesón o Beatriz Rodríguez, miembro de la Plataforma Ciudadana de Sanse y Alcobendas, movimiento social que ayuda a gente sin recursos.

La lista está encabezada por los dos actuales concejales de Izquierda Independiente: Juan Torres y Carmen Palacios. Ellos han sido los mayores defensores de los vecinos y vecinas de Sanse en el Ayuntamiento durante estos cuatro años.

Juan Torres, Licenciado en Ciencias del Trabajo y Diplomado en Relaciones Laborales, lleva años participando en movimientos sociales. Estos últimos cuatro años, junto a su compañera y concejala Carmen Palacios, socia fundadora del Consejo de la Juventud y del Colectivo Utopía, han estado del lado de los vecinos, defendiendo sus intereses y sus derechos y llegando donde el actual gobierno del PSOE y Ciudadanos no es capaz con todos sus asesores.

El partido ha enumerado algunos de los logros con los que se presentan a estos comicios: «paralizar un cementerio-crematorio privado cerca de viviendas, defender los derechos de los vecinos frente al aumento de espacio y horario aprobado para las terrazas de hostelería así como el ruido de los aviones y del RACE, crear un fondo solidario que ayudó a decenas de familias en la pandemia, conseguir mejoras en las residencias públicas de Sanse gracias a la presión ejercida…», apuntan.

Tras ellos van Víctor García Maganto, Graduado en Ciencias Políticas y de la Administración Pública, ya fue concejal de Izquierda Independiente y portero durante 12 años del Club Juventud Sanse, Virginia Gijón, maestra de la escuela pública, licenciada en Teoría de la Literatura y Literatura Comparada y parte de Canal Norte durante 10 años, Diana Martínez, licenciada en Ciencias del Trabajo y Empresariales y Roberto Vegas, también ex concejal de Izquierda Independiente que lleva 23 años como Técnico de Administración Local en el área de Deportes.
