La organización sindical CCOO de Madrid ha reaccionado con dureza al accidente laboral ocurrido este jueves en San Sebastián de los Reyes, donde un operario de 52 años resultó herido tras caer desde una azotea. El sindicato ha querido dejar claro que este tipo de sucesos no pueden achacarse a la mala fortuna, señalando directamente a la gestión de la seguridad en el trabajo.
«Insistimos: no son fatalidades, son responsabilidades empresariales», han denunciado con firmeza. Para el sindicato, la clave para frenar esta situación pasa por tres ejes fundamentales que, a su juicio, no se están cumpliendo: el refuerzo de la vigilancia, la inversión preventiva y la aplicación de sanciones ante los incumplimientos de la normativa.
Desde CCOO advierten de que, mientras no se tomen estas medidas, «seguiremos contando víctimas mes tras mes». Con un rotundo «¡No más accidentes en el trabajo!», el sindicato pone el foco en la prevención para evitar que se repitan rescates como el vivido ayer en la localidad, donde los bomberos tuvieron que evacuar al trabajador por la fachada de un edificio comercial.
